Have you often had the question: “How to find out if a neighbor owns a plot of land?”?
Sometimes there are situations where it is necessary to find out not who owns a plot of land, but on the contrary – that is, whether a specific person owns a certain piece of land.
And how to do it, when you do not know this information for sure?
Yes, of course you can try to search on the Public cadastral map, but the cadastral number is entered in the input field, not the surname and initials of the person.
HOW TO FIND A PLOT OF LAND BY THE NAME OF THE OWNER USING VARIOUS RESOURCES
Our country is constantly moving along the path of corruption prevention, which is why in October 2015 the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Strengthening Transparency in Property Relations for the Purpose of Prevention of Corruption” was adopted. According to which the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the State Land Agency opened access to the registers of ownership rights to immovable property and vehicles and made them free.
Before the start of Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, all registries worked harmoniously and openly. However, before the end of martial law, the Holder of the electronic system made a decision to limit the posting of information on the public portal and access to it.
The state register of property rights to immovable property also functions with limited access, and it was possible to obtain information about the immovable property owned by a particular person, including land plots, from it.
It is worth noting that all requests are registered, that is, the owner can receive information about who requested information about his property.
What to do?
If you urgently need to get information about plots owned by a person, while knowing only his last name, first name and patronymic – follow the following tips.
Most recently, the country’s first mobile real estate register https://drrp.app/ resumed its work . This is a user-friendly site, which is also optimized into a convenient application for both IOS and Android users.
A simple and convenient interface allows you to search immediately. To do this, select the “Make a request online” section at the top, then:
– in step 1 – select the request type “By identification data”;
– in step 2 – choose the type of person: “Physical or legal person”, scroll down the screen and enter the person’s full name or identification number, and for a legal person – its name or EDRPOU code.
In the future, the system will display whether such a person owns real estate objects and land plots.
As for real estate objects, their address is hidden due to martial law.
Regarding land plots, the system allows you to see the cadastral number, which can be easily copied and entered into the search field of the public cadastral map (using an analogue – OpenDataBot) and see this land plot on the map.
For complete information, you will have to make a payment on the DRPP website and pay UAH 55. for one such request. You will receive the result to your e-mail address.
We hope this information was useful for you.
