On May 12, The Parliament of Ukraine issued a law that introduces a number of changes to the existing legislative provisions on the activity of prosecutor’s office.
According to these innovations the General Prosecutor of Ukraine should have higher education and work experience in areas of law – 5 years. Previously it was necessary to have experience in areas of law for at least 10 years and required a law degree.
In addition to become the prosecutor of regional prosecutor`s office it is necessary to work experience in areas of law for 3 years.
